If I'm vague it's for a reason...so please do not email me as to where and how because I can't divulge that. What I can tell you is that on Monday when the car is unveiled in Chicago the OTHER car will be open to special invite down here in L.A. at a place picked by Nissan (NOT the Auto Show). So as 9:10am (12:10 eastern) hits, we'll get to see it in person down here before it heads off to the L.A. Auto show. Normally there wouldn't be much to gain from seeing it a day sooner...but in this case I'm hoping that I can get photos that will not be attainable at the auto show (roped off cars and such). Word from my source is that it's mostly a shell so no driveline in it. It will basically be what you've seen in the photos since those photos were taken a few weeks ago at the Arizona test facility. It will be that color of orange as well. It's gonna be crammed I hear and I am NOT sure if cameras will be allowed (but one would think so since the car will be unveiled anyway). So I guess time will tell tomorrow. Here's the mail. It's been edited so as not to hurt my source. > >> Sent: Friday, January 05, 2001 4:33 PM > >> To: *NNA Email Users at ********* (R); *NMAC - All CORP Employees; > *NMAC > >> - All CORP Contractors/Temps > >> Subject: E-News -- Sneak Preview of the Z Concept > >> > >> JUST IN .... > >> > >> We have arranged for employees ** ******** to get a special sneak > preview > >> of the Nissan Z concept being unveiled next week at the Detroit Auto > Show. > >> Please join us at **** *********** on Monday, January 8th at 9:00 > A.M. > >> for a live satellite broadcast from Detroit and the local unveiling > of the > >> Z concept. > >> > >> As space will be limited in *** ****** during the 9:00 A.M.
